Al-Anon Family Groups is a community resource providing support to anyone affected by a relative or friend's drinking. There are over 24,000 Al-Anon and 2,300 Alateen groups meeting in 115 countries.
The only requirement for membership is that there be a problem with alcohol in a relative or friend.
Meetings are confidential. We do not disclose whom we see or what we hear at meetings to anyone. We do not give advise, indulge in gossip or criticism. We do not discuss religion, treatment centers or self-help groups.
