Delegate’s Corner – Fall 2025
As my term as World Service Delegate for Saskatchewan comes to an end in December, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your support. What an absolute privilege it has been to represent all of you for three years at the World Service Conference. I have learned so much about Al-Anon worldwide and have a new appreciation for the incredible amount of work that goes on at the office in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This has been an adventure of a life time; one I certainly never pictured myself doing. Your encouragement over the years to take on service positions I did not feel qualified for has given me gifts beyond measure. Page 8 of our Service Manual has this to say: "In Al-Anon, we believe that our benefits are measured by our willingness to share them with others, for we know we can never give as much as we receive." Oh what blessings I have received! My congratulations to all those who are beginning new terms of service and continued thanks to all who continue to be of service to Area 89 in any way. What Lois began, let us continue.
